New Delhi, 12 October 2021: In order to strengthen its focus on the EdTech business, S.Chand group has consolidated its digital businesses in the newly formed company Convergia Digital Education Pvt. Ltd. – an EdTech company that aims to offer technology-integrated teaching and learning solutions for delivering superior academic outcomes for schools, teachers and students.
Convergia has two EdTech offerings-Mylestone smart curriculum, a one-stop, 360-degree academic solution for schools. The idea is to empower schools to continue teaching and learning in all modes i.e., completely online or hybrid. This solution, which is a combination of digital and print is already enabling schools run academic operations despite covid related closures. Second offering is a personalised learning solution for students called learnflix which offers a highly affordable at-home learning package. It has more than 2 lakh downloads and 20K paid learners. Convergia’s teaching and learning solutions are in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which makes it a robust and future-ready product.
S. Chand has been a publishing leader and an EdTech services provider with global partnerships and key school adoptions. The company has also backed start-ups like Testbook, Ignitor and Smartivity in the online testing and STEAM Learning. Convergia seeks to bring a change in education that makes students learn better through Empowered Teaching and Easy Learning.
