On 22nd September 2024, Sriikaushal Goswami attended the much-acclaimed drama Kosheto in Gandhinagar, a production that beautifully captured the essence of poetry and theater. Based on the profound works of the celebrated poet Ramesh Parekh, Kosheto was directed by the renowned Pritesh Sodha, whose direction once again proved to be a masterful work of art. The play starred the highly respected Bollywood actor Darshan Jariwalla, along with an ensemble cast featuring Kalpit Kalavadia, Sejal Pondaa, Priyam Jani, Pooja Gami, and others.
Written by Manthan Joshi, the play artfully blended Parekh’s timeless poems with engaging performances that resonated deeply with the audience. The evening was punctuated by a standing ovation from the Gandhinagar crowd, a reflection of the impact the play had on those in attendance.
Sriikaushal Goswami, a long-time admirer of Pritesh Sodha’s work, expressed his deep respect for the director, saying, “I have always been a big fan of Pritesh Sodha’s direction, having had the privilege of working with him in Mumbai. His vision continues to inspire.” He also praised Darshan Jariwalla, calling him an “amazing actor of all time” and noting how remarkable it is to witness Jariwalla still inspiring audiences with his performances.
The play, a true tribute to the works of Ramesh Parekh, was a remarkable evening of theater, and Sriikaushal Goswami’s presence highlighted his continued passion and respect for the craft of acting and direction.
