She says “I lost my father three years ago, that was the lowest point of our lives for me and my family. I was lost, sad, angry, upset, and was completely depressed. I was not sure how to deal with the loss. Death is the only certainty for each of us, but we are never prepared for the loss of a loved one and we do not know how to deal with it. The mental scars are very deep and take a long time to heal. My father used to always say “Be bold, be strong and be positive”, My family and I tried to follow his words but still, I had to deal with a lot of depression. Slowly instead of mourning the loss, we tried to celebrate the life he lived and cherish all the memories we created with him. In memory of my father, I got myself inked for the very first time. I have “Papa” written on my right wrist. It reminds me of all the good times we had.’
